Sea fishing off the island of Ada Bojana
Ada Bojana island in Montenegro, in the mouth of the river Bojana at Adriatic sea. in the extreme South-East of Montenegro on the border with Albania. Total area of 4.8 km2. The island is triangular in shape, with two sides it is washed by the fresh waters of the two branches of the river Bojana and on the third side by the Adriatic sea. There is a version that the island Ada Bojana appeared on the site in 1858 of the sunken merchant ship them Tririga (Croatia). It is assumed that many years of river sediment accumulates on the wreck and rocks, and thus arose the island.
Ada Bojana is the most South beach of Montenegro. Its length is 3.8 km and it is covered with the best sand of the Adriatic. Also, as on the sandy beaches of Ulcinj, the sand here has healing properties. Due to the sloping entrance to the sea water here warms up very quickly. The swimming season on the island lasts from late April to early November.
The location of the island allows you to combine sea fishing and river fishing in the Delta. The boat we use for fishing, can carry up to 7 anglers but comfortable at the same time can catch no more than 3-4.
Fishing time 6 – 8 hours on the boat popdot snacks and drinks, all fish caught can be enjoyed on Board, but the Bank can not be taken.
The climate is moderately continental, in the mountains — Alpine, on the Adriatic coast — Mediterranean. In the Central regions of Montenegro is always somewhat cooler than on the coast, and significantly influence subalpine factors. In the coastal area the summers are long, hot and fairly dry, winter is short and wet.
The country has two international airports: Podgorica and Tivat. In the capital of Montenegro is the most convenient to get a direct flight of the national carrier Montenegro Airlines
