Andaman and Nicobar Islands form an archipelago located about 2000 km from the coast of India, 750 km from Thailand to the Bay of Bengal of the Indian ocean. More than 370 Islands, many of which are still untouched by civilized man, belong to India and are carefully protected by the Indian law. Most of them remain uninhabited, other tribes are the most ancient people on earth, completely isolated from the outside world and with unique abilities that defy the understanding of modern scientists.
The Andaman Islands are still pristine, unspoiled and considered one of the best places for fishing in Asia. The Andaman Islands are available for sea fishing sports just a few years ago. Still some parts of the archipelago are considered to be a protected area. There are no commercial catch of fish! The waters of the archipelago is replete with a rich variety of marine predators. Fishing techniques: jig, Popper, slider, trolling.
Recommended tackle: boat fishing used rods with a length of 2,10-2,40, test, 150-200g. With coil 12000-15000 and braid No. 8. For fishing from the shore – length spinning about 3 meters, with the test is 80-90 g., 5000-6000 reel and braided line No. 3. How to get there
flights to Andaman are carried out only from India, In the capital of the Andaman Islands Port Blair there are daily flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Madras, Chennai and Kolkata.
