CARIBE TARPON FISHING

Costa Rica is home to some of the largest tarpon in the world. Tarpon (Megalops atlanticus) are the «silver kings» of coastal waters, they can exceed 6 feet in length and weigh up to 350 pounds. Tarpon are known for their impressive leaps when caught on a hook in an attempt to escape. The world record for a tarpon caught on hook and line is 281 pounds. When startled, the tarpon makes thumping sounds using its swim bladder.
The price for double occupancy includes: meals, bar, hot tub, pool, fishing tackle (except rapalas ($25 each) and flies, which are sold in the store) and daily laundry. 
Suggested tips are $100 per day for the guide and about $50 per day for the staff.

And although the climate is subequatorial, the diversity of landscapes makes corrections in the weather in each area.In General there are two seasons: dry — from December to April and rainy from may to November.
Most comfortable time to travel to Costa Rica is the period from December to July.

Placement

The Lodge where you will be staying is recognized year after year as the world's best tarpon fishing destination and the best fishing lodge in Costa Rica by both guests and numerous reputable guidebooks.
Rooms are over 450 square feet with two or three double beds, hangers and walk-in closets. Rooms have 12-foot ceilings made of wild reeds. Walls are constructed of local tongue-and-groove and hardwood planks.
Bathrooms are fully tiled, and each room has its own hot water heater, ceiling fans and air conditioning.

Boats

23-foot fishing boats
23-foot fishing boats equipped with Yamaha 150hp motors. All 12 boats are double hulled with polyurethane foam in the hull. These boats are some of the fastest, largest and safest ocean fishing boats on the Caribbean coast.
All boats are equipped with fish finders, 25 watt VHF radios and a full complement of safety equipment.
