Fishing in Oman, Hallaniyat Island

Southern Oman is one of the most popular places to fish for big carrunks and tuna. You can fish almost anywhere, as there are many great spots to catch a wide variety of fish species.
The season in Southern Oman starts from late September and lasts until May. From June to mid-September, fishing here is impossible due to the monsoon season, strong winds and big waves.
Fishing starts from early morning and lasts from 10 to 12 hours.
Catching techniques:jigging, casting, fly fishing, popping and trolling.
Package includes:

• 5 days of fishing + 1 day of shore fishing

All charters are weather dependent (decision is at the discretion of the captain) and he reserves the right to cancel any trip due to bad weather, in which case alternative programs such as inshore fishing or fishing in different areas depending on wind direction will be offered.
