The Karlskrona archipelago is one of the best places for pike fishing in Sweden. Here is one of the largest fishing campsites in Sweden, which specializes in pike fishing from a motorboat. Today the campsite consists of 31 cabins and 18 motorboats of different classes and sizes.
The campsite is located less than 3 kilometers from the town of Karlskrona in the county of Blekinge. Regardless of the weather, you will always be able to find a fishing spot. On the luckiest days, guests can catch around 80 pike per day.
The most popular months for pike fishing are March through May and September through November. However, pike can be caught year round in this area. In fact, many large pike are caught during the winter months of November through February.
It is important that guests adhere to the principle of "catch and release" to ensure a healthy fish population in the future. It is permitted to catch one pike per day for cooking purposes.
