Our partners, who are based in Izmir, offer exclusive fishing tours for bluefin tuna in the waters of the Aegean Sea. In these regions, the tuna migrate along the coast, which makes it possible to organize fishing trips in the sea at considerable depths.
When to go? April, May, July, August, October, November are the most active season of bluefin tuna migration in the Aegean Sea. The spring and fall months are the best time to catch trophy specimens, when the tuna come closer to the coast.
What catches are possible? Turkish records include specimens weighing up to 295 kg caught in Sigacik (near Izmir). Even average specimens for amateurs often exceed 100–150 kg, which makes fighting such fish a real test of technique and stamina.
Tour program:
• 05:30 - leaving the marina and a short briefing
• Dawn - noon - fishing
• 11:00–12:00– return to the marina
*Program may be adjusted depending on weather and fish activity.
