Hunting Marco Polo in Tajikistan

The Pamir argali, is named after the Venetian traveler and merchant Marco Polo, who was the first European to describe his horns in the XIII century. The largest individuals of argali Marco Polo (Ovisammonpolii) occur in the Central and Eastern regions of the Pamirs, in Tajikistan at an altitude of about 5,000 meters above sea level. These places are often called the "roof of the world".
Hunting area: Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous oblast. The Pamir plateau. The lake district Occul.

Accommodation is in yurts at the camp at the altitude of 4.000 m.

The tour schedule:
Day 1 arrival at Dushanbe airport, transfer to hunting camp
Day 2 rest, acclimatization
Day 3 – 9 7 day hunt.
Day 10 transfer to Khorog and a night in Dushanbe.
Day 11 departure from Dushanbe
